Comments & ID Thoughts

Body about 1.5cm, with legs about 5cm across. Indoors-bedroom. Closest I've found is this link but no-one seems to have responded https://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=5511303

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 I’m not well versed in species outside North America … I’m pretty sure I’ve come across this one before though so I might be able to figure it out eventually if someone else doesn’t come along with the ID first. I’ll keep looking for it.

I don’t think it’s a Pardosa, my first impression was a Ctenidae (Wandering Spider). This supposed Acanthoctenus sp. is similar and there are a few options in your region but there are so few examples searchable online that I don’t have much to compare it to. I downloaded a bunch of the papers that deal with the species hoping I’d come across one that bothered to include a photo or illustration of the whole spider. No such luck. Not to say there isn’t a paper available that includes the illustrations, there’s just so many to go through.
