I believe it’s a shamrock orb weaver. I identified one today, too!
It could also be Araneus gemmoides, a Cat-faced Spider. I don’t see the markings on the abdomen that look like cartoon eyes that Shamrock Orb-weavers usually have. Either way, we both see it as genus Araneus.
