Something cool about this photo is the eyeshine. That’s a real word for the reflection of light off of an animal’s eyes. Mobile ambush predator spiders are more likely to show eyeshine than web spiders. They have anatomically different eyes that are better for seeing in low light. When you see eyeshine, that helps narrow down the type of spider it is.
