Comments & ID Thoughts

I searched everything I could think of - black white square mark on back. He came out every evening outside our kitchen window. under a covered porch. His web was damaged there and I have not seen him for a while. Any ideas? Is he harmful?

Hi, this is one of the Spotted Orb-weavers (Neoscona). Hentz Orb-weaver (Neoscona crucifera) is very common this time of year. They’re not anything to worry over. 🙂
