My husband, who hates spiders, found this and had to show me! I LOVE spiders, so he knows to never disturb them (at least in my presence). I had to snap some photos of this beauty. A very strong, very quick spider. The web is beautiful, about 1.5’x2′. enjoy!
is this a garden orb spider? we have one on our deck, right near the outdoor light where it can catch many flying bugs to eat – in St Louis, south city It is large, about 1 X 2″ including legs in a web about 12″ or more = damaged by today’s rain
My appreciation of spiders led my husband to overcome his severe arachnophobia. He takes photos of them for me too. Awesome!
