Comments & ID Thoughts
I live in Southern Kentucky and this spider was in my bathroom floor. I've never seen one like it before in my life. Inside or outside. The back almost seems to have a tribal face and the belly a rust colored triangle. Legs are 2 short, 2 long, 2 short, 2 long, and very spindly.

I’ve also just noticed that it has three pair of legs near the front and one pair right on the rear end of it’s abdomen. It’s unlike any spider I’ve ever seen. Any information would be appreciated.
Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This is an arachnid, but not a spider. It’s a Harvestman (Opiliones).

Thank you! I knew everything I was reading said if it had eight legs, it was not an insect but a spider … but I also thought that all 8 legs would be in the same segment of the body as well. Do you know if they’re indigenous to my area?
You’re welcome. 🙂 Yes, the one I linked to was also found in Kentucky.
