No, it’s meaning is. If you smell it’s odour it resembles a sweaty bike seat if you cook it the scent goes away but holy don’t eat this specimen raw or your mouth will taste like butt sweat!
Hi, this looks like a male False Black Widow, Steatoda grossa. The image is dark and I can’t make out the pattern on the abdomen so only filing to genus. 🙂

No, this is a mature male and if it were that I would expect it to have considerably larger palps and shorter legs.
