Picture of unidentified spider

Comments & ID Thoughts

The spider is at least the size of a half dollar coin. My assumption is that it is an American House Spider, but I would like to make sure as it seems quite large. It has been outside of my place of work for weeks and was only once missing from that corner. The weather has been fluctuating between the 80°s to low 50°s to high 60°s, and it still enjoys its little spot.

Hi, do you have any other photos of her? My best guess from this photo is Araneus diadematus. Most of the postings during this time period from your state of similar spiders are of cross orb weavers.
