I think this is a false black widow (Steatoda grossa). I'm farther north than they are usually sighted, so I thought it would be worth submitting.

Yes, Steatoda grossa. This web site is relatively new and has a large back-log of submissions that have not been filed so data on ranges for even common species is largely incomplete. The map in the following link better represents their common range. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
