Comments & ID Thoughts
I have already submitted this spider for review but didn't think the photo was good enough so I decided to repost with a close-up.
I walked into my front porch around 4am which it was still dark at this time and it was foggy as well. I have a lantern on my porch and I looked down to see if it was lit and that's when I noticed the spider clung to the outside of the lantern. I wanted to kill it but was concerned of it jumping at me so I left for when my husband wakes up for work an hour later but of course the spider was gone! We've had quite a lot of spiders this Summer and Fall seasons 2018!

This appears to be a Rabid Wolf spider, (Rabidosa rabida). Despite the name they are not dangerous.
I’ve never seen one before this. I wonder how common they are or how often they’re actually seen..
idk either but happy to help!
