The photo is blurry. Try taking close-up digital photos without the flash when you’re in dim light. The flash can be too bright, in my experience., The shape of the spider looks like a Huntz orbweaver, Neoscoma crucifera. I think I read that they are used in spider fighting (against other spiders, not people) in the Phillipines and Florida men’s prisons.
I’ve added a new picture, it’s a little dark, and the spider seems like it may have been wounded in its fight with the other spider. Then again, it may just be the way she likes to sleep during the day. Photo ID 44284
