Comments & ID Thoughts
I've found like 30 of these guys in my basement, this one happened to be in the garage with like 7 of his buddies. Any idea on why I have so many and what I can do to control the population?

Hi, this is a Wolf Spider (Lycosidae), tentatively Tigrosa helluo. They’re not an indoor species, if you are seeing them indoors there may be a separate issue with a population of bugs that they are preying on and gaps in the structure where they’re getting in at. you can reduce their numbers by sealing openings around floors, doors, windows, foundation etc., vacuum everywhere and empty the canister outside, identify what they may preying on and eliminate that. 🙂
I think whatever they were preying on has been depleted – I found a big one dining on a smaller one last night. But I will take you up on the other suggestions
