Looks to be a cross between a black widow and black house spider. Has black furry back and partial hourglass on bottom of abdomen. Found on wall, sitting stationary four feet above ground, not in a web. I also uploaded a picture of the bottom of the abdomen.

Hi, this is a Black Widow – likely Latrodectus hesperus (Western Black Widow). The broken hourglass probably has something to do with the condition the spider is in. Latrodectus variolus (Northern Black Widow) has a broken hourglass but ranges more towards the east.
