Haha … that’s what brothers are for. You’re welcome. Brown Recluse Spiders are not established in NJ. Isolated populations are certainly possible especially in places where things have been shipped in from out of state, but they’re not running all over the place like some people would lead you to believe. The map in the following link shows the states BugGuide.net has had submissions of L. reclusa from. The oldest submission is from 2005 and there is still nothing from NJ.

Even if they were in NJ, they likely wouldn’t be in the woodpile – they’re more common indoors. Ticks and Black Widows however, those might be in the wood pile so still a good idea to be mindful. ๐Ÿ™‚
