Spider found in upstairs bedroom. Spider moved very fast when running across carpet. Spider on top looked all black, approximately 2-3 inches including leg spand. Not found in web, seems like a running spider based on how quickly it moved running and trying to hide under things. Based on the picture it's looks like the top abdomen is black and the bottom half of the abdomen is brown looking.

Trap-door spider?
Interestingly I did see another picture on here that looked similar and it was labeled as possibly a trap door spider so maybe that is what it is.
Folding-door Spider is the common name for this one. 🙂
