Comments & ID Thoughts
I was really hoping to get a better photo but I took it as quick as I could at the only angle I could without getting too close. Lol. I know it looks almost black but the spider was dark brown. I fear that it may have been a brown recluse. I know it's hard to really see but I'm hoping there are some people out there that may confirm whether or not it's a possibility. Either way, I'm calling an exterminator out as I have three small children and I'd rather not take any chances. Thank you in advance. :)

Hi, see above image for ID (definitely not a Recluse (Loxosceles sp.)). If you are seeing a lot of spiders in your home you can safely reduce their numbers by sealing cracks around floors, doors, windows, foundation, etc., vacuum everywhere and empty the canister outside. 🙂
Thank you SO much! I decided not to call after all. We’ve been here 3 years and have never had any bites so I’m assuming if we have little houseguests, they aren’t dangerous ones. Lol. This was helpful information as when I vacuum, I just dispose into the indoor trash can… Thanks again. Well wishes.
