The cat got a hold of this guy.
Seems to have very hairy legs, but the body was smooth and shiny and almost shell like? Size (with legs) was between a nickel and a quarter.

Hi, see above image for ID (Burrowing Wolf Spider). He likely wandered in by accident searching for a mate.
Thanks! I was thinking it might be some sort of wolf spider as we have seen a few others, but hadn’t found any that looked like it online. I see now that it’s missing part of the body which threw me off.
The black front legs are part of what tipped me off to species.
