I had never seen a spider similar to this one, what surprised me the most is the figure that it has on its back or belly on top, it looks like an egyptian hieroglyph I found her in my patioI do not have grass,trees, plants or flowers where she could be living

Hi, this is a Hentz Orb-weaver (Neoscona crucifera). They’re not considered to be of medical significance and are unlikely to bite except in self defense. They’re beneficial as they may prey on less desirable things and help to keep the insect population in check. The design on the abdomen doesn’t typically look that way, she may be gravid and those are stretch marks.
