Because we don’t know what it is with enough certainty. Clearer photos of the topside and underside would help us figure out the identification. A photo that shows the arrangement and number of eyes a spider has is also helpful. If you have multiple photos you can use Google Photos collage option to make them into a single photo to post. If the spiders are a risk to the bees, right now the spiders are either dead from the cold or hibernating in the hive. There may be egg sacks in the hive that will hatch in the spring. My best guess is Dolomedes tenebrosus, the dark fishing spider. Color intensity varies, it can have orange-banded legs. The shape is close. Fishing spiders are hunters that eat what they can catch. There are lots of videos online of them entering beehives and getting killed by the bees. So, the bees are more dangerous to the spider than it to them. Fishing spiders aren’t a risk to you in the hive, they are less likely to bite than a honeybee is to sting and the result is about the same.
