Comments & ID Thoughts
I am almost totally ignorant about spiders but from photos on the internet I think this is a wasp splder.
First noticed it 4 or 5 weeks ago on plumbago.
It stays in the same position, except for once wnen I accidentally disturbed part of the plant that the web was anchored to. Even then it returned to the same spot but showed it's underside, whereas it previously had shown it's back.
It still hasn't moved at all, even though we have been having heavy storms.
I need to cut the plant back. What will happen to the spider?
