My first thought is that this is a false widow, but it has not got orange legs. My second thought is a lace web but its body is more round and bulbous. The body is roughly the size of a small pea which I think may be too small for a widow? The longer front legs are roughly 1/2 an inch. I live near Birmingham UK. I have round roughly a dozen of these on the metal frame in my conservatory and 2 egg sacs.
