didn’t get a photo but i think we just spotted one of these inside on the mainland of BC

This species has a fairly wide range in British Columbia, both on Vancouver Island and the lower mainland of BC. However, there are similar-looking species that are hard to tell apart without closer examination. They’re harmless to people and pets.
