What kind of spider is this? I have a small hole in my ceiling about the size of a dime and these spiders are always found on my ceiling.

I have a hole in my ceiling about the size of a quarter and the spiders are always found on my ceiling usually one once a day but today there were four and they were spread out.
They’re probably trying to stay warm by entering the living space. This time of year they also have a better chance of catching food in a place where insects are warm and active. I have spiders that pass through holes in the house foundation (yes, we should insulate better). The spiders spend nights hunting outdoors and come in during the day or when they need a change of temperature and/or humidity. Other users of this site will probably have a species ID for you in the future.
