Comments & ID Thoughts

Common Grass Spider? I am finding many (15+) of these in my basement. All have been evicted. This was the first time I found one outside of our dry, full height but unfinished basement. It was on the second floor ON THE BACK OF OUR LITTLE PET RABBIT in her cage! It would not come off of her. I had to scrape it off with a cup. That was a bit unnerving.

Hi, it looks like a grass spider in genus Agelenopsis. I hope your rabbit is okay.
