Hi, I think it is genus Agelenopsis, the grass spiders. I can’t see it well enough from the photo to be more specific. Grass spiders are fast runners with webs that have a little funnel shaped area on the edge to rest in. It’s like ice fishing wrapped in a sleeping bag with your fishing pole, waking up when you feel a tug on the line.
That was my first “spiders are like ice fishermen” analogy in public.
