Argiope trifasciata - Banded garden spider found before frost and brought to the office to spend the winter in safety. She spun 2 false egg sacks for us. She was missing 2 legs when we found her. We have been waiting to see if she would molt and regrow them.

If she’s mature enough to make egg sacs unfortunately she’s done molting. I think some mygalomorphs continue growing and molt past maturity.
