Neoscona crucifera - Spotted Orbweaver, Hentz Orbweaver, barn spider found by a cable tv installer and saved for us to identify. The spider was brought back to the office before first major frost and we will return him to the outdoors in the spring. He has made a wonderful addition to my office. Very good eater, he seems to love crickets.

She’s a mature female. They usually make their egg sacs towards the end of autumn and pass away soon after with the next generation emerging sometime in spring.
