Sorry, 80mm in height as you look at it
Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 What a gorgeous spider! It looks quite a lot like Eusparassus walckenaeri … I don’t think that species is established in England though? Was this found near something that was shipped in from outside the UK?

I’m assuming it came into the country on an import, it was extremely aggressive. Is it at all dangerous?
They’re not considered to be of medical significance, everyone’s immune system is different though, and it’s a good bet that any bite from a large spider could be painful. I’m not familiar with the behavior of this species, a lot of spiders don’t have very good eye sight though, and if it ran towards you there’s a chance it was thinking you’d make a a good place to hide.
