What kind of spider do I have on my dining room ceiling (near the patio door)? Best guess so far is an orb spider, but I'll gladly accept an expert opinion.

Hi, yes she is an orb weaver spider. A “cross orbweaver,” Araneus diadematus. She has really pretty colors.
