I think this may be an immature black widow. Those are very common here.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This appears to be a False Black Widow (Steatoda grossa). The legs tend to be a bit more robust on a true Widow (Latrodectus sp.). Young widows also typically have some red and/or white markings on the dorsal of the abdomen. When in doubt treat them with the same respect though.
