Crawling on my bed. I live in McLennan County, 6 miles west of West, Tx. I live rural and see huge spiders that make 24 inch in diameter webs & scorpions but have never seen this spider.

This is not a true spider but a close relative. It is one of the Harvestmen or Opiliones. They are another group in the Arachnids like spiders, scorpions and ticks. These are harmless and usually feed on dead plant or animal matter, like dead insects.
They make good easy pets too!
