Picture of unidentified spider

Comments & ID Thoughts

Reviewed the pictures on this site and best guess is the Araneus diadematus. Picture shows more yellow than orange and it was bright, safety vest orange!

Hi, thank you for checking our photos. You got the genus right. She’s Araneus marmorous, a marbled orbweaver. They’re the most safety vest orange ones. The legs start out pink and white then transition to black and white further down the legs. A. diadematus is more brown tones with what looks like splattered white paint on the upper back

Hi, I had a typo in my autosuggest that is haunting me, the correct spelling of your spider species is Araneus marmoreus.
