I’m curious to know what type of spider it is and is it poisonous, I searched a lot of pictures but didn’t see anything like it.
And unfortunately it’s already dead.
Thank you for sharing this photo! It looks similar to orb weaver spiders AKA/garden spiders. The closest one in color and shape that I can find online is Eriophora transmarina, native to Australia. I don’t know spiders of Iraq in particular but, I don’t think this species, whatever it is, is dangerous to people. It has the shape of a web spider, the poisonous spiders seem to mostly hide in dark places. The local university mayhave a biology department that might recognize it. There may be more thoughts on this spider from other members of this website.
