Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This looks like is could be a Huntsman Spider (Sparassidae) … maybe a Thelcticopis sp.. The dorsal illustration for Thelcticopis moolampilliensis in “Jose & Sebastian, 2007” is similar enough to be a possibility, but it’s just a line drawing and I don’t have images to compare to for every possible species in the genus in India. Does Cochin = Kochi? T. moolampilliensis has Moolompilly Island and Kochi, Kerala, India listed as it’s known distribution.
