Could someone help identify this spider?
I pretty confident this is a marbled orbweaver, Araneus marmoreus. I recently asked an expert about exactly this same identification question. He said the banding colors of the legs are one strong clue. A. marmoreus generally has red and white bands that become black and white toward the feet. Thanks for asking!
