Perhaps an Araneus diadematus? Unfortunately, I did not get a dorsal view.

It’s not as easy without seeing the front. But I’ve had my fair share of encounters with these to say with like… at least 90% certainty this is Neoscona crucifera (The Spotted Orb Weaver). One of my favorite spiders, and they show up in my yard all the time.
