My son shared this pic with me this afternoon. initially appears to be common funnelweb spider but fangs apparently aligned parallel to body center axis. spider approx. 3/4 to 1 inch in length, glossy black. appears to be a male. sighted in a private home in upper east Tennessee. Homeowner has traveled to Australia and South America. any help identifying appreciated.
