Thé critter is 2/3 of a cm glossy peach colored with 4 red spots on its back. A very small head and a big round “butt”. It has a strong survivability because I doused it with Lysol spray and it was not affected by the dose.
It may be in genus Theridion. Lysol is intended to be used for killing bacteria and viruses, not animals. Breathing the fumes of something that breaks down the cells of microbes is possibly more unhealthy for people than what most spiders can do to you. We’ve had many people say they were surprised that Lysol spray didn’t kill a spider. Please catch spiders and release them outdoors.
