Comments & ID Thoughts
Can anyone help me positively ID this spider? It has been living in my window since June. Comes out at night to hunt knats. Impressed it can survive on the tiny knats that fit through the screen.

It has similarities to the brown recluse but not the markings. I can’t seem to find a picture that looks similar.
Scytodes species?
I have this same looking spider in my screen. Not sure how to post a picture of it. Is it a brown recluse?
To post a photo go to “submit” with the camera symbol at the top of the screen or on your profile page (tap your profile symbol). It will ask you a bunch of questions and for you to select the photo. That part is difficult because the thumbnail pics are really small and can be hard to tell apart. I don’t know if yours is a brown recluse yet, but we’ll start working on your pic pretty quickly. Reply to this if you have trouble submitting a photo.
