I think this is a False Black Widow - can anyone confirm?

It is possible, Steatoda grossa and Steatoda noblis are both in your area now. I can’t tell which species it is from the photo angle. The visual difference is the lighter colored pattern on their backs. A noble widow pattern looks like someone wearing a headscarf. A false black widow has blotches and dimples. A brown widow has an arc of light color at the top of the abdomen and an orange mark on the underside . A triangulate cobweaver has a row of triangles down the back.
