Comments & ID Thoughts
My husband was thinking either a hobo or a woodlouse spider. We just want to have good information before getting our house sprayed (we have an infant baby girl, so cannot be too safe).
It was found in our living room, right now it's been around 20-40° F In Cache Valley

Hi, this looks like Dysdera crocata, they have large fangs for grabbing and killing insects like sowbugs/woodlice.
Looks like a woodlouse spider to me. I don’t think they pose a serious threat to people, but I would stay away from it just to be safe
It is a Woodlouse Hunting Spider, I forgot to state the common name. There are false stories on social media about them. They can barely break our skin and have venom that isn’t very potent to humans. Their fangs face toward each other and curve inward to pierce small soft insects but our skin is relatively huge and flat on scale to the fangs. It isn’t as risky as having pesticides sprayed in a home with a baby. You can escort the ones you find to the Outdoors and seal openings where new spiders can follow insects into the home.
