At first I thought this may have been a brown recluse, as I found it in a cardboard box (the box has been sitting there for about 2 months in living room) and its abdomen wasn’t round. I don’t believe brown recluses have patterned abdomens or are usually found in North Carolina, though. I also saw no violin marking on the thorax. Help me identify please! I’m hoping not to find a family of them...
