We were surprised to see this spider on the ice.
Hi, this is a Six-spotted Fishing Spider, Dolomedes triton. 🙂
Thanks for the ID. I thought it might be a dock spider, but this was on a frozen beaver pond. We let it alone and it headed for the woods. Sort of weird it was on the ice, and it was cold. I didn’t think I’d see any kind of ‘bugs’ out there!
