I found my cat playing with / killing this spider. The body itself is about the size of a quarter, not including its legs when they were full extended. Wish I could have gotten a picture of it while it was alive, but alas, I’m terrified of spiders.
Hi, this is a Wolf Spider (Lycosidae). Tentatively Gladicosa gulosa. 🙂
