I believe this to be a female false black widow. Found indoors in December.

Yes, that is a female False Widow Spider, one of the Steatoda species.

Ah, thank you. She startled me when I found her near the bed in the basement, behind my medication. When I released her outside I noticed she seemed almost metallic. It was beautiful.
