What spider is this?
What I can make out looks like possibly Tigrosa helluo (Wolf Spider), or something similar. Like most spiders they have venom but are not considered to be of medical significance. Everyone’s immune system is different though.
Thank you, in the other picture I have posted a similar smaller one bit me and I was curious because I am also pregnant (due any day) and was hoping it would not affect the baby or anything like that. It hurts where I was bit but I cannot see what the bite looks like.
Hi, to see the spot without help you can use your phone to take a pic for yourself to see. There is a slight risk of infection from the puncture wound. If the spot feels hot or looks like it is getting bigger or if the small blood vessels in the area become inflamed please see a doctor. I’m not a medical professional though I worked in the Public Health field. A pregnant woman’s immune system is already strained. Thank you, ironically two hours later my water broke, at hospital. Having some issues but I doubt its related.
What TangledWeb said. If you feel there is cause for concern see a doctor. I filed to family because of the lack of detail but the spider is very likely Tigrosa helluo. Good luck with everything!
