This scary creature appeared in our living room last evening. I am assuming female as we found several egg sacs in the corner behind a huge boom shelf.
Hi, I think your identification of it as a garden spider is correct. The colors came through a bit off, but the abdomen has the shape of Argiope trifasciata. she’s not scary once you get to know her, as long as you don’t touch her in a way that makes her uncomfortable 😉
