Spider came out of a packet of avocados from the supermarket that had an origin of Chile. Not sure if they were packaged in Chile or the UK.

Wondering if this could be a recluse spider? Anyone able to confirm or deny that? Thanks!
Happy New Year! I’m not an expert, I don’t think this is a brown recluse. Brown recluse spiders are pinkish brown and a bit translucent. They have a couple of markings that this spider doesn’t have. Yours could be a grass or sheet web spider. If we can ID it we might be able to tell which country it came from, unless it is present in both. Some countries that export a lot of produce, like Chile, are reducing pesticide use to make the produce more marketable to organic produce purchasers. Absolutely not, you definitely aren’t going to find a recluse spider in the UK.
Hi, this is a Ghost Spider (Anyphaenidae) – likely a local species called a Buzzing Spider, Anyphaena accentuata, given the circumstances I’m only filing to genus though.
