Crab spider in our garden. Stayed on the top of this stock of asparagus for at least 10 days, then it moved to the closest stalk for a few more days. (We did not watch it the whole time, haha, so it is possible it left occasionally, or maybe each night...)

Looks like one in Mecaphesa.

I am certainly not of help as a newcomer identifying arachnids, but I can’t help commenting. This looks like a ghost person missing the lower half of their torso (& limbs). Ha ha I have snagged a few photos of mecaphesa from our yard and this looks similar, but narrowing down…interesting behaviors!
