We found this in a natural area preserve in Oregon City in the woods. We tried identifying it with a spider identification book but couldn't find anything.

Hi, that’s really cute! I think it is male and/or immature. Some spider books mostly show adult females. Araneus peigna came to mind but I haven’t checked it out yet. Hopefully, we’ll have more info for you soon. Thank you for posting your photo.
